♥ Melonn & Chocochip Partology 11th July ' 09
I shall declare todae as my blogging day for my melonn & choccohip partology..*smilez* So here comes the latest blog entry of melonn & chcochip partology!! *drums roll and curtains open*
Had chatted and discussed wif dearie abt our dating plans the nite b4 and we had finally decided to go catch the movie, 'The Haunting in Connecticut' b4 going over to Tampines IKEA to check out "my new potential wardrobe"..=)
And so we set off to The Grand Cathay (Our ' 老地方'~) hoping to catch The Haunting in Connecticut at 1.10pm and boy were we lucky to secure a pair of cosy couple seats..=D As there was still quite some time b4 our movie starts, we decided to fill our hungry stomachs by having lunch at The Grand Cathay restaurant, a chinese restaurant dat serves realli nice and yummy dim sum and a wide variety of chinese dishes.
I was immensely captivated by the oriental charm of the restaurant when we step in and sat down at our table.

Hahaa.. seriously, I'm still thinking abt the gratifying lunch experience we had at this Grand Cathay Restaurant. I would give a rating of 4 out of 5 for the ambience and food..haha Would definitely love to go back wif delonn dearie in the future. heheez
Anewae, when we finish our lunch, it was already almost 1.10pm and so we headed quickly to the cinema for our horror movie.
Well, the movie dint turn out as scary as I had expected it to be but it had a pretty gd storyline which is based on a true story. Anewae after the movie, we headed over to Tampines IKEA for in search of my potential new wardrobe... hahaa.. if u hav read abt my previous blog post abt the collapse of my dying wardrobe, u would knoe wad I meant by "potential new wardrobe'.
We reached Tampines IKEA at 4 plus and began our window shopping... saw a few good potential ones and dearie helped me to note down the dimesions and information of the wardrobes. He is such a lovely boyfriend..love him lots lots!! *blissful smilez*
Hmm.. while window shopping and looking at all the furniture, I have this special feeling dat me and dearie are like one of the newly wed couples looking for the furniture for our dream home. Feel like settling down wif delonn dearie and being his lovely wifey, waiting at home wif all the nice homecooked dishes on the table. *dreaming awae*

See dearie's expression in the photo below? hahaa.. he seem to be relishing every moment spent in dat comfy verner swivel computer chair... heez *tickles dearie*
We waited fer like close to 45 minutes and finally gave up the idea of dining at the IKEA Bistro as it was practically impossible to dine there at all wif the flow of crowd coming and so many pple were like eyeing on the same tables.
Sadly, the chances of having an empty table was like almost zero percent. Had actually planned to check out Courts and Giant but due to our exceptional extreme hungriness, we decdied to forego dat plan and find food to satisfy our stomachs. We left IKEA and headed back to Tampines 1 for our dinner.
At Tampines 1, we decided to have our dinner at this restaurant, Say Cheeze which serves western food and their famous cheese related deserts. The place looks inviting enough so we decided to give it a try. And so we went in, waiting to savour in their delicious food.
However, much to our disappointment, the food was quite a let-down. We ordered the main course food (dearie had his rib eye in black pepper sauce while I had the chicken treasure in cheese sauce) togther wif a plate of cheese fries and fruity smoothies...

Firstly, I gotta say the food was a real disappointment, the sauce on the chicken reminds me of the carbonara sauce which I hated and kind of gave me the puking feeling after some time and the cheese fries was onli so so when compared to the KFC and its nt worth the price. Seriously, I rather go fer the cheese fries at KFC...=D
Dearie oso mentioned that his black pepper sauce was too sweet... imagine rib eye meat dipped in sweet black pepper sauce.. dat mus haved tasted quite awful.. And lastly, as for the drinks... hmm.. all I can say is that they are too sweet.. its so sweet till I feel as if I will have diabetes soon.. Ohh gosh!! Would definietly not order the main courses there again.. but would still go back to try the desserts since its their specialty.
After the disappointing dinner at Say Cheeze, we walked arnd Tampines 1 and finally decided to chill out at this cafe below. Its called MAX Sandwich and Grill. We found a comfortable seat there and we ordeed a cup of vanilla flavoured latte to share as I'm feeling real full after the dinner. We had abit of chat and laughing session b4 we decided to end the night early.

♥ Melonn & Chocochip Partology 5th July ' 09
I'm feeling so happy todae!! *smilez* Looking 4ward to share this piece of gd news wif my delonn dearie.. miss him much much~ *hugz hugz*
And its time to update my melonn & chocochip partology again! =) That Sunday afternoon, dearie brought me to a new restaurant fer lunch, its called Aj's Piri Piri , a UK fast food chain.. located at the top most level of Iluma Shopping Mall.
Okies, b4 I showed u all the sinful food photos, let me begin by explaining to u guys wad's Piri Piri.. haha This term, Piri Piri is actually derived from the tiny chilli peppers that the Portuguese introduced from Angola and Mozambique. These Portuguese pple blend it with various kinds of herbs and spices which resulted in the fiery hot piri piri sauce.
At the restaurant, dearie ordered the 1/2 piri piri chicken while I ordered the 1/4 piri piri chicken. Well the food turns out to be quite a disappointment, the piri piri sauce on the chicken wasn't hot and spicy at all and it doesn't realli taste dat special....=D But pricing wise, it was very reasonable..

Hmm...I wonder why onli the two chairs on the left are in blue when all the rest of the chairs are in orange colour. Perhaps it's for the V.I.P, I guess? haha
Anewae I kinda like the ambience there except that the food dint turn out as delicious as it looks.. hahah =D
After our lunch, we decided to go for ktv at Liang's Court Party World. And guess wad!! When we reach there, the counter staff told us that all the rooms hav been fully booked and the next room available is like so late and it clashes wif our movie timing... So sad!! we left the ktv feeling disappointed with the fact that we came all the wae there but in the end no room to sing...
Lucky us, we got an alternative backup for our ktv plans...hehee.. Turns out that Dynasty Ktv has got rooms available..I was so happy!! =) Coz I have been looking 4ward to go ktv wif dearie and sing our hearts out.. I love to hear him sing at ktv, it melts my heart when he holds my hand, looks into my eye and sing love songs to me.. *blissful smilez*
We made our way to Dynasty Ktv and we sang all the wae frm 3.30pm to 7.10pm after which we proceed to catch our 3D Ice age movie at Grand Cathay.

It was the ferst time me and dearie catch a 3D movie in cinema. It was really an eye-opening experience!!! I was dumbfounded when I saw the movie effects... it was simply magnificent!! The movie characters practically seem to pop out from the screen and it seem like they are just inches awae frm me!!
The movie was great and funny, one of the best animations I hav seen so far.. Thumbs up for the movie director and producer.. They did a great job!! *standing ovation and roaring appaulse*

♥ Down on Luck !! =(
As usual, I went to my wardrobe to take my clothes and the moment I opened the door knob of my wardobe.. I was stunned and astounded for a moment...all my clothes were like piled up messily as if it has been ransacked... and the metal rod was like hanging in the middle of nowhere...
My mind went blank and I was at loss of how to handle the big mess in my 'dying wardrobe'. I jus dint expect my wardrobe to collapse so fast. I had sensed the 'collapse' coming when I noticed the metal rod bending downwards as I hang more and more clothes..
I had to admit that its my fault that now I hav to clean up the mess... I shuld hav stop buying so many clothes and hang the clothes in moderation. Luckily, I managed to clean up the mess and rescue it from the "world war" mode..
Till then, I will jus make do wif my 'dying wardrobe' and I'm gonna get a big and more sturdy wardrobe next time when I had my own house and I had definitely learnt a valuable lesson from this incident..
P.S Shucks!! I jus found a few zits on my face.. Arghz!!! Wad a bad Tuesday!!

♥ Karen's 23rd Birthday Celebration @ Ebisboshi - 4th July ' 09
Here comes my weekly blog entry on my weekends..=) It has been a great weekend for me.. Saturday was spent celebrating Karen's 23rd birthday wif my pri sch besties.
Met up wif Simin at 1plus and we went gift hunting at bugis. After a few hours of window shopping, we finally found the ideal gift for Karen. Next, we headed over to Bras basah to look at the books. Can u believe it? Some of the bookstores are like selling off their books at $1?!! So cheap !!! haha and some are even quite brand new...=D
At 4 plus, we decided to go to the ladies at National Library before making our wae back to Iluma. I got a big shock when I look at the mirror after coming out of the toilet.. One of my earrings was missing frm my ears!!! I was shocked and disappointed.. I tried looking for it but it can't seem to be found at all. Dat pair of earrings was given to me by my pri sch bestie on my birthday and I realli love it.. And the saddest thing is that I only wore it once.. =( *sighz*
Seriously, my mood was pretty much affected that day by the loss of my fave pair of earrings...Simin keep asking me if I was ok when she see the disappointment look on my face after I told her abt the earring thingy..
Anewae, we procceed our way back to Iluma and shop arnd while waiting for them to reach. My gloomy mood slowly changed when I saw dat the pair of boots I had been eyeing on was going on SALE!!! My eyes immediately lit up and I made a beeline for dat pair of boots in that shop... heez After trying on dat pair of lovely boots in both black and brown colour, I decided to get the brown coloured one...somehow I feel dat the brown colour brings out more of the sophisticated feel of the boots...
At 5 plus, all of us met up and decided to have dinner at Ebisboshi. I was quite apalled when the waiter told us we could actually order food straight from the menu given to us. I almost couldn't believe that eating places are oso implementing the use of technology these days..the world's getting more and more interesting..
We presented Karen wif the birthdae gift and after which, we had quite abit of photo taking session.. haha I shall let the photos do the talking...

♥ Melonn & Chocochip Partology 29th June ' 09
Latest update on my life again. Work has been pretty hectic.. I'm so deprived of beauty slp!!! hahaa And I feel kinda tired these days...tink I gotta adjust my sleeping hours again, mus report at lalaland earlier... hahaa
Been so busy and tired until I haven been updating my blog these days... =) Phew!! Finally found some time to sit down and begin my fave pastime - blogging... heez Here is the latest blog entry abt my melonn & chocochip partology~
Met dearie after my work and we head over to Tampines Mall to catch the movie 'Transformers - Revenge of the Fallen'. We had our dinner at Tampines Food Court before proceeding to watch the movie at 6pm. There u go, a photo of what we ate dat dae... heez
The movie was awesome... I love the C.G effects!!! It's amazing how the movie director are able to produce such realistic effects in this movie and it brought back my childhood memories when I used to be so excited abt watching Transformers cartoon wif my elder brother.
Those were the good old days.. hahaa ' Transformers~ More than meets the eye ~ *sings* *feeling nostalgic*After the movie, it was pretty late.. so we ended the date earli and dearie sent me home.. =)
Yay!! this sundae, I'm going out wif dearie again for our melonn & chocochip partology..= D I miss my delonn dearie lots lots.. *hugz hugz* Can't wait to see him and hold his hand again.. *thinking of dearie*

♥ Bao Qi's 23rd Birthday Celebration @ Yuki Yaki - 24th June ' 09
It's blogging time again!! Time to update u guys about my bestie, Bao Qi's 23rd birthday Celebration. =)
Met up wif bq and rest at City Hall after work and we proceed our wae to Yuki Yaki for our birthday dinner wif our dear birthday ger, bq.
We had buffet dinner (steamboat and bbq style) and ice-cream at Yuki Yaki.. =) Dint hav much appetite during the dinner as I had diarrhoea dat dae...I guess it mus be the food I ate earlier at work..
Anewae, we had a great chat and catch up during the dinner celebration. And before long, we were asked to change tables as it was ice-cream time!! It was pretty fun and interesting watching how the ice-cream syrup froze on the grilled palate and the best part is dat we get to cook our ice-cream !! =D
Finally, it was birthday present time for our dear birthday ger, Bq. We presented her wif our brithday presents and scrapbooking style birthday card that was done by Chris. =)
